First game of the pool features North Carolina of the ACC versus the Mountaineers of West Virginia of the Big East. While we're not sure if West Virginia actually has a university, we do know they have a football team that has a history of being pretty damn good. Last year they upset oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl and they feature Pat White who has had a storied career as a quarterback. Carolina has played a tough schedule and get their starting quarterback TJ Yates back. Both teams are 8-4. Current betting lines that this poster has seen has West Virginia as a 1.5 point favorite. Can Carolina overcome injuries and pull a mild upset? Most of the current members of the pool think so.
