Hi Will. I checked the blog post this morning because I knew I was close. I am stunned that I won. Not in over 20 years have I outlasted the pros. Hopefully this is a good omen for the year. Now if I could only remember how I made my picks I will be in good shape for defeating the Dark Side next year too. Or maybe the Democrats and voters can take care of that.

Never fear Family Bowl Pool members. Remember the Force is strong in all of you. With your help we have defeated the Commissioner and Emperor Palpatine and have a worthy champion of this event: Candace Key! With an incredible record of 15 and 5, and her cunning west coast bias, she ran triumphed without the need of a tie breaker. Coming in second was Commissioner Emeritus RC Smith with a brilliant 14 and 6 record. For the first time in Family Bowl Pool history, no one had a losing record, which makes Candace's triumph even more impressive.

The plaque will be sent to California where it will reside for the year. Guard it well Candace, for the forces of the Dark Side will want it back in 2021.
